Hi,
The Neurology of Angels is a novel about the hearts inside the business and politics of drug development. I wrote it because in my various jobs in academic research, the government, and the biotechnology industry, I have met a lot of good people who are trying to do the right thing but getting in each other’s way. It is a much more complex story than corruption, ineptitude, or callousness, particularly with respect to rare diseases, and I thought it was a story that needed to be told.
A brief synopsis of the book is included below. Reviews are available at Raging Bibliomania, PODRAM, and Goodreads.
If you would like to watch a preview video, click here .
For excerpts or more information about the topics in the book or about me, I invite you to visit www.neurologyofangels.com .
The Neurology of Angels is available for purchase through your local bookstore or at a variety of online retailers including Amazon, Barnes and Noble, and Breakthrough Bookstore.
Thanks for stopping by!

The Neurology of Angels
Every day a choice must be made between saving one child and treating thousands.
Galen is a neuroscientist and entrepreneur who loses everything to develop a cure for stroke.
Eddy is a devoted father who enters politics on a mission to lower the cost of prescription drugs.
Elizabeth is a pharmaceutical industry lawyer who is raising a daughter with a rare
and fatal genetic illness.
Their families become forever entwined as the three parents engage in a tug-of-war over a
failing system of good intentions.
In the wake, heroes are born.

Hi Krista,
I didn’t know your book was at Target! I will look for it next time I’m there. It’s just a joy to see the books of the authors I’ve meet in stores, I just want to grab the next person that goes by and tell them, “You’ve got to read this book, it’s really good-you’ll love it.” Hope all is well and if you ever get that movie deal for Neurology of Angels, I still think ‘Chuck’ would make a perfect Eddy : D
