Thanks, Chester, your graveyard sounds a lot more interesting than mine! But I am encouraged every time I run across another book of yours; I think you've published 3 new ones in the time that I've been be-bopping around trying to figure out what my second one is going to be! Either you're fearless, or once the second one is done the next ones are a little less daunting. I'm clinging to the latter hope. =)

Hey, you should walk slowly through that graveyard now and then, kick a tombstone or two. When I wrote that piece on Nashville Magazine, I dug through a box of old stuff. There were short stories I wrote after coming home from Korea in 1953, and lots of bits and pieces. Didn't find anything to pick up, but it encouraged me to continue my project of revising the post-Cold War trilogy I wrote in 1990-93 and never saw publication. Fifty-plus thousand words is a lot. My recent mysteries have run 65,000 to 75,000. Interesting post, Krista.

I was beginning to think I'm the only person in the Universe who doesn't like chocolate, so I'm grateful to this blogger for showing me I'm not alone!

Yesterday Cadbury were "promoting" their hideous cream eggs on Twitter. These are particularly vile: sickly sugar-soaked globules of a mixture of pus and mucus, encased in solidified baby poo. Eat one and puke.

I don't like them, you see
